Extension of the accreditation for a branch / representative office of a foreign company in RussiaExtension of accreditationLaw Firm “PRIORITET” performs legal services on extension of the accreditation term for the branches and representative offices of the foreign legal entities in Russia, including for those accredited in the regions of the Russian Federation. A foreign legal entity has to apply to the State Registration Chamber for the extension of the accreditation term for its branch / representative office in Russia 21 business days prior to the expiry of the term of accreditation. If the foreign legal entity fails to apply to the State Registration Chamber for the extension of the accreditation term in a timely manner, the branch / representative office shall be deemed terminated (ceased) its activities in Russia. In this case the branch / representative office shall be re-activated through a procedure established for the initial accreditation.
Our services on extension of the term of accreditation shall include the following:
Timing : 3-4 weeks
Expenses related to the extension of the branch / representative office accreditation: (1) Our fees for the legal assistance in the extension of accreditation term for the branch / representative office is RUB 25 000 (approx. USD 800) (2) Fee of the State Registration Chamber for the extension of accreditation term for the branch / representative office for the maximum period is RUB 45 000 (approx. USD 1 500) (for the branch) or RUB 60 000 (approx. USD 2 000) (for the representative office). (3) State duty for the branch accreditation is RUB 120 000 (approx USD 4 000). (4) Additional fee of the State Registration Chamber for the expedited process (7 business days) – USD 500 (5) Expenses for the notary certification of the documents and their translation into Russian shall not exceed RUB 20 000-25 000 (approx USD 700-900).
List of documents required the extension of the accreditation for a branch / representative office:
Documents originated in a foreign jurisdiction should be certified by a notary public and legalized or apostilled abroad. The documents filed with the RussianState authorities shall have the Russian translation certified by a Russian notary public. All documents executed abroad shall be valid in Russia not more than 1 year from the date of their execution (apart from the documents indicated in clause 2 of the above list).
