Registration of change of name

Law Firm “PRIORITET” performs legal services on registration of amendments to the state registers and notification of the registration authorities with respect to the change of the corporate name of a foreign legal entity (Head office) and subsequent change of name of its branch / representative office in Russia.

Our services shall include the following:

Preparation of the set of documents in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation;
Registration of amendments to the name of the branch / representative office with the State Registration Chamber under the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation and obtaining the new Accreditation Certificate and Permission;
Design of the new seal sketch and production of the seal for the branch / representative office;
Notification of the tax authorities, the state statistics authorities (Rosstat) and the social funds concerning the change of name of the branch / representative office and obtaining the new certificates and notices.

Expenses related to the registration of amendments:

(1) Our fees for the legal assistance in the registration of amendments to the state registers and notification of the registration authorities concerning the change of name of the branch / representative office is RUB 40 000 (approx USD 1350).

(2) The State Registration Chamber under the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation shall charge a fee for issue of the new Accreditation Certificate and permission.

(3) Expenses for the notary certification of the documents and their translation into Russian shall not exceed RUB 20 000-25 000 (approx USD 700-900).

Documents originated in a foreign jurisdiction should be certified by a notary public and legalized or apostilled abroad. The documents filed with the RussianState authorities shall have the Russian translation certified by a Russian notary public. All documents executed abroad shall be valid in Russia not more than 1 year from the date of their execution.
