Branches and representative offices of foreign companies in Russia as well as Russian subsidiaries with foreign investments (hereafter also referred to as the – “employers”) shall have the right to hire and employee foreign citizens to work in Russia only if they (employers) have valid employment permits.

Foreign citizens shall have the right to work in Russia only if they have valid work permits and working visas.

Our services on obtaining work authorization documents shall include the following:

1. Preparation of the set of documents in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation;
2. Assistance in obtaining migration quotes for the foreign employees;
3. Assistance to the employers in notification of the local employment authorities regarding the vacant position existing in the companies-employers; initiating search by employment authorities for the Russian citizens appropriate for the vacant positions (procedure is required by the laws);
4. Assistance in obtaining employment permits (permission giving employers the right to hire and employ foreign citizens);
5. Assistance in obtaining individual work permits for the foreign employees;
6. Assistance in obtaining personal accreditation cards for the foreign employees of the branches / representative offices of foreign companies from the State Registration Chamber under the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation;
7. Assistance in obtaining personal accreditation cards for the family members of foreign employees from the State Registration Chamber under the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation;
8. Assistance in obtaining the letters of invitation for foreign employees to enter the Russian Federation for the employment purposes;
9. Assistance in converting single entry work visas into multiple work visas for foreign employees of the Company;
10. Assistance to the employers in notification of the relevant state authorities on the fact of employment of the foreign employees (one-time notification on employees arrival);
11. Registration of the employers with the Federal Migration Service of Russia as the “inviting parties” (allow employers to apply for issuance of the letters of invitation for foreign citizen) – for Russian subsidiaries;
12. Assistance in obtaining the letters of invitation for business visas;
13. Preparation of the individual draft employment agreements with the foreign employees;
14. Migration registration (arrival - departure).

 

Expenses related to the authorization documents:

-        Our fees for legal assistance in obtaining work authorization documents (as per clauses 1-10 above): from RUB 50 000 (approx. USD 1 700) (for one employee)

-        Our fees for legal assistance in registration of an employer with the Federal Migration Service of Russia as an “inviting party” (as per clause 11 above): RUB 36 000 (approx. USD 1 250)

-        Our fees for legal assistance in obtaining the letters of invitation for business visas (as per clause 12 above): from RUB 3 500 to 8 000 (approx. from USD 120 to 250)

-        Our fees for legal assistance in preparation of the individual draft employment agreements with the foreign employees (as per clause 13 above): from RUB 10 000 (approx. USD 350) (for one employee)

-        Our fees for legal assistance in migration registration (as per clause 14 above): from RUB 1 000 (approx. USD 40)

-        State duty for issuance of an employment permit: RUB 6 000 (approx. USD 200) (for one employee)

-        State duty for issuance of a work permit: RUB 2 000 (approx. USD 80) (for one employee)

-        Expenses for the notary certification of the documents and their translation into Russian shall not exceed RUB 15 000-20 000 (approx. USD 500-700)

 

Timing :

-        Legal support in obtaining work authorization documents

for the foreign citizen in Russia (as per clauses 1-10 above): 2,5 - 3 months

-        Registration of an employer with the Federal Migration Service of Russia

as an “inviting party” (as per clause 11 above): 10-14 days

-        Obtaining the letters of invitation for business visas (as per clause 12 above): 16 – 30 days
